Lavendar

I am obsessed with lavender. It grows profusely in my garden and every year I leave it ‘till the very end for our bee friends to get their fill.... then I harvest it and separate the precious bud from the greenage. I have a Still which is used now only to distill Lavender, and out of the whole crop one is lucky to get just a small bottle of this precious versatile oil. It's why you see acres upon acres of lavender fields, here in the U.K. and in France. I would consider Lavender to be in the group of my top most powerful oils.... the others being Tea Tree, Rosemary, Chamomile.

This herbal powerhouse is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and disinfectant. Lavender is an ingredient in our Cream Cleanser because of its ability to heal the skin. It enhances blood circulation which pulses life-giving, nutrient laden nourishment to all the skin cells of the face but also the entire body. Lavender is great for treating acne, eczema and other skin disorders. It promotes wound healing, relieves pain, treats insomnia, and studies are being done into lavender actually helping in treating cancer. It's amazing. The smell is intoxicating and powerful. The Queen of essential oils.
